Saraki fell out with Tinubu after he contested for and won the position of Senate President in June 2015 despite being expressly excluded by the APC.

Senate President, Bukola Saraki has reportedly begged for forgiveness from the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.

Saraki is said to have apologized to Tinubu today, February 24, 2016, during a meeting which held in the office of Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, according to Sahara Reporters.
